Surviving Ashes was the first season of the Rising from the Ashes series and introduced the Palpatine brothers, it was also the first introduction of two Force-sensitive Chiss whom had come from the Unknown Regions: one from Thrawn's House Phalanx and one being Thrawn's baby brother who had come seeking the exiled sibling at his own risk, Thrawn leads the First Rebirth War in an attempt to return the Imperial Throne to the two Princes under his protection.
