The Adamantite Skin prayer gives a temporary 25% boost to a player's Defence stat. It cannot be used with any of the other prayers that provide a defence bonus. Members' Chivalry and Piety both offer better defensive enhancements. It is often used until the Protection Prayers are available. The extra boost in defense makes it ideal for places where there is more then one type of combat.
