Dalern was a Human male Mantellian Separatist Officer during the Ord Mantell Civil War against the Galactic Republic, which was backing the Mantellian Government. He was stationed in the Separatist Base on Mannett Point when a promising Republic trooper infiltrated the base and was eventually captured by the trooper along with a teammate. The Republic soldiers attempted to retrieve info from Dalern but the former proved useless and so, Zora executed him where he stood.
