The Roush were short, fuzzy bat-like creatures that guarded the forests from the Shataiki. After a human had crossed the river that seperated the followers of Elyon from the Shataiki and their domain, the Black Forests, they were unseen by humans for about 13 years. Johnis, Silvie, Darsal, Billos, and Karas were the only humans able to see the Roush. Some notable Roush included Gabil, Michal, and Hunter.
