A whisking potion is a tradeable item produced at an apothecary. By clicking on the item—found under Miscellaneous inside the Booty tab—and selecting "Drink", the player can then be instantly teleported (whisked) to any island they choose from the map. If the player closes the map without selecting an island, the potion is not used. In order to visit an island, the player must have stepped foot on the island before, or have a chart in their booty with the island, or have recently seen such a chart. Each potion has nine uses (swigs) before it is fully consumed. Whisking potions never decay.
