Cargilla is a Vampire Hunter who works for Otherworld Welfare Inc. Branch 666. In May 2004, he and his team is hired by Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich to exterminate Gerhardt von Waldstein. Cargilla and his crew end up accidentally freeing Gerhardt (thinking they had killed him) and are later subjugated by Pirie Mistwalker. In the aftermath of the incident, Gerhardt decides that he will reeducate the vampire hunters, instead of letting them loose and risking the deaths of innocent vampires.
