The Kartok system was a system in the Unknown Regions, a possession of the Golden Empire. Discovered by the Empire's explorers in 98 ABY, it remained uninhabited until 116 ABY, when Rin Sakaros gave the system's third planet, Kavez Massass, to her Massassi as a gift. Three years later, at the insistence of her brother and Royal Guards, Rin took the fourth as her own personal retreat, naming it Queen's Garden.
