Most thri-kreen are hunters and not particularly interested in the flesh of sentients, as long as other kinds of meat are available. However, a number of thri-kreen packs, called kek ("raiders") specifically hunt sentient creatures. Kek often carry human-made weapons and are more familiar with humanoid tactics. The entire pack never travels together, making it nearly impossible to wipe one out. Survivors can expect reprisals, which may come many (kreen) generations later.
