While Rem'ii was born on her species' homeworld of Nagi, the young Nagai's memories of the planet are hazy at best. Most of what she knows about her early life is what her older brother, Raile, has told her. It seems that when she was no older than three, her parents smuggled their children off the war-ravaged world and ventured into known space. Their unfamiliarity with the galaxy and its languages caused the family to wander aimlessly for several years, picking up odd jobs where they could and otherwise venturing from planet to planet, searching for a place they might fit in.
