Inferna Prime was the inhabited prime planet in its star system. In 2373, the Federation Grand Jury was convened on this world to hear a case concerning the Orion Syndicate. The planet was eight days away from Deep Space 9 at the cruising warp speed of a Danube-class runabout. Quark was a witness in the case and was called to Inferna Prime to testify, but the Syndicate attempted to have him killed en route. (DS9: "The Ascent")
