A Vulcan pulse cannon was a hand-held weapon created by the Vulcan civilization in an alternate reality where their homeworld was destroyed at the hands of Nero. Unlike the Vulcan repeater, it had greater firepower to it and was able to fire full-auto fire pulses with a large magazine capacity. A secondary function generated a wide-range knockdown stun burst. It was designed by Vulcan engineers with the aim of it being used as a more aggressive weapon to quickly resolve conflicts.
