Empire Day is the official hoilday of the Galactic Empire. It takes place on the 23rd day of May every year. During Empire Day, all schools, stores, and public buildings are closed, and massive fireworks, celebrations, and parades take place across the Universe. It commerates the establishment of the Empire and the end of the Clone Wars. Those who do not celebrate Empire Day are branded as "traitors" and are taken into custody, never to be seen again.
