The GU-11 was a gun pod developed by the Robotech Defense Force during the First Robotech War. It was carried by every VF-1 Valkyrie and could also be used by the Destroid Spartan. These weapons were later outclassed by the far superior GU-13 used by the new VFI2 series Veritech fighter as it held almost three times the ammo, had 5 times the range and 45% greater accuracy.
