Tubain of Endiscar is the owner of the Res aB'tyrr, the inn in Tai-tastigon where Jame takes up residence for the period covered by God Stalk. He is described as "a big-bellied, bald-headed man" with a "broad, bland face." He is also described as "waddling," and with "sausage fingers" in "A Matter of Honor". Tubain is rather passive, and dislikes conflict. He is extremely hospitable: He keeps the Res aB'tyrr open even on the Feast of Dead Gods, and adopts both Jame and Kithra as strays. He is sometimes referred to by Cleppetty as Tuby.
