The Navidon is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII. First appearing in the Central Expanse of the Archylte Steppe, it is an Ice-based lizard that may be too difficult for the party to deal with initially. The Navidon is difficult to stagger and can deal heavy damage to all party members with its Icy Breath attack. It is rather slow and docile in the field, so obtaining a Preemptive Strike is simple and sometimes necessary to win. If one is underdeveloped in the Crystarium it could take a few staggers to see this foe away, but stronger teams should have no trouble.
