Foktir was the leader of the Dark Corps and the archenemy of Darth Mavrin. He started out his adulthood as the apprentice of the gray Jedi Rindel. Becoming greedy and corrupt, he joined Menglis' crime organization. When Menglis was killed and his organization disassembled by Kracor, Foktir gathered the remnants of the organization as well as several other smaller smuggling organizations to create the new Dark Corps. Seeking revenge on the Corellians and Kracor, he began to raid Sith ships and attack Sith soldiers. In response, Kracor sent Mavrin to hunt down Foktir. When Mavrin found Foktir, Kracor sent a Sith fleet to assassinate him, but Foktir barely escaped, wowing revenge on Mavrin.
