Stanley Meadows (born 14th July 1931 in Stepney, London) appeared on Coronation Street between November 1963 and April 1964 as businessman/talent agent Laurie Frazer. An actor since the 1950s, his other credits include ITV Television Playhouse, The Plane Makers, No Hiding Place, The Wednesday Play, The Saint, The Avengers, Armchair Theatre, Out of the Unknown, Public Eye, The Fenn Street Gang, The Persuaders!, Dixon of Dock Green , The Adventures of Black Beauty, Z Cars, Till Death Us Do Part , The Sweeney, Widows, Minder, Return of the Saint and Roots (the British comedy, not the US mini-series).
