Rescue of Ziva David From Somalia is a mission that occurred in September 2009 and which eventually saw the successful rescue of former NCIS/Mossad Liaison Officer Ziva David from her prison in Somalia, Africa by her colleagues, NCIS Special Agents Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Anthony DiNozzo and Timothy McGee as well as the shooting dead of terrorist Saleem Ulman who had been held Ziva captive for months, Saleem and his men having also tortured Ziva in the hope of gaining information related to NCIS and Mossad.
