Reacher's Square was a huge public area in Unta, the Malazan imperial capital. Located near the government precincts, the brick paved square was surrounded by a lichen encrusted, four man-lengths high wall built of close-fitted stone. Atop a portion of the wall was a row of spiked human heads, all that remained of the last ruling council of Unta. Capable of holding over fifty thousand spectators, it was the site of well attended monthly executions.
