Dana White was a Starfleet officer in the 24th century. She was a captain in 2363. In 2368, she was listed as a Yard Engineer on the second version of the dedication plaque for the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Silicon Avatar" , dedication plaque) This character was only mentioned in writing. She was named after production staff associate Dana White, who was later employed at Gregory Jein, Inc. as a model maker. [1](X)
