Thomas A. Giovine was born on January 30, 1965. He founded Giovine Capital Group LLC, an investment management company in 1998. Giovine Capital Group manages two private investment partnerships: Giovine Investment Partners L.P. and Giovine Investment Partners International Ltd. Giovine Capital Group were initially seeded by the merchant bank IRR Capital, founded by Édouard Stern and Jeffrey C. Keil.
