Emjedah is a city located in northeast Aradath near the eastern edges of The Great Divide. It was originally founded by the Frontacian Great House of Grandeur and was later settled by Taathians and Monitanians. After Grandeur's failed attempt to take control of Sorcerer's Isle, he was exiled and spent his time in Emjedah. It was at this point that the mines of Emjedah were discovered to be plentiful in almost every metal, from iron to moonsilver to drathain. It was during this period that Granduer brought slave trading to the city. Under the leadership of the Frontacians Lord Timor, General Ulric, and Archmage Ralin, Emjedah fought a long war with the city of Treehaven, ultimately resulting in the destruction by fire of the latter city.
