The Stone Archer is a deadly trap on top of the Wall of the Stone Archer. It is one of the three deadly traps that guards the Isle of the Beast to keep people out, and hold the Beast in. Shamir Shamazel had assumed the form of a middle-aged gardener to try to get Alexander to come closer to talk to him, so that the Stone Archer would shoot him. Alexander later found a wooden shield in the Catacombs of the Ancient Ones, and used it for protection against the archer's stone arrow.
