PC Short was a police officer who appeared in the village in the aftermath village hall helicopter crash. PC Short informed Eric Pollard, Doug Potts and Rodney Blackstock that a helicopter had crashed into the village hall whilst they were out drinking all night. A few days later PC Short arrested Bob Hope for breaking his bail conditions after he scrapped with Finn Barton in the street.
