Johannes S. Goddestreu, 1st Bürggraf Goddestreu zu Alt-Kien (full name: Johannes Sebastian Goddestreu, also referred to affectionately as Hannes Goddestreu by some) is a Hulstrian Hosian Democratic politician who currently serves as the Governor-General of Hulstria and Gao-Soto. A veteran of the Hosianisch-Demokratisches Verbund, Hulstria and Gao-Soto's "natural party of government" and a scion of the Goddestreu family (descended from 2nd post-Septembrist Governor-General Sebastian Goddestreu), Goddestreu had a long record of service in the politics of the Crownlands before being elected as Governor-General, serving successively as Minister-President of Crownland Hulstria, Vice-Ministerpräsident of that Crownland, Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs and HDV Party Chai
