Vice Admiral Kevin M. McCoy is a native of Long Island, New York and joined the United States Navy in 1977. McCoy's las naval posting was as the 42nd commander of Naval Sea Systems Command. He is currently employed as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Irving Shipbuilding Inc.
