The Krabbex was a species of extinct crustacean that was native to the oceanic world of Dac. It was characterized by its ten legs, dual mandibles in its mouth, two rows of spines running along its back, eighteen black eyes with four on its front, and grasping claws. Krabbex were often hunted by the Mermen of Mon Calamari. It was the subject of one of the dioramas within the Holographic Zoo of Extinct Animals on Coruscant. Admiral Gial Ackbar's Foreign Intruder Defense Organism resembled a krabbex.
