Florrie asks Len to fix her up with a new fireplace before hearing that Elsie is keeping house for him. Concepta meets a distressed Nellie and tells Harry to sort Len out. When Len tells Concepta he's not bothered which woman he has and that he expects affection from them all, including her, she breaks down and strikes him. Florrie snubs Len and takes her business to his boss. Harry confronts Len who refuses to apologise to Concepta. When he insults her they fight. Harry leaves him unconscious on the floor.
