Young Female Scientist is an attractive young scientist who was part of the Atlantis expedition. Sometime in 2006, Lt. Colonel John Sheppard ate a meal with Dr. Rodney McKay and Dr. Radek Zelenka. The latter two discussed whether if it was possible to enter a hyperspace field with a ship from a different technological background, for instance a Tau'ri vessel crossing paths with a Wraith vessel. During that time, Sheppard kept gazing at her, who often gazed and smiled back, and thus not paying attention to McKay and Zelenka. He later somewhat regretted not paying attention when his F-302 fighter-interceptor was on a Hive ship, thinking whether his fighter can stay in the hyperspace field should he detach from the ship.
