NOTE: These ideas are only preliminary. But they are good. Possible colorized overlays in the HUD, that will cover the entire screen. These overlays would be designed to suit the time period, and emulate film styles (the haight street level would have greater intensity and contrast, and blur effects to simulate that era's film style, while the WWI era level would have a black and white filter, with grainy distortion, etc.)
