Dread Iron is a legendary mighty belt for the Barbarian in Diablo III. It requires character level 60 to drop. As of patch 2.2.0, it became a Season Three-exclusive item, but drops for normal characters as well since that Season ended. The unique affix causes each cast of Ground Stomp to summon Avalanche at the same location. This Avalanche fully benefits from all runes and enhancements of the regular skill, but ignores and does not start its cooldown. The unique affix was moved to this mighty belt from Seismic Treads. It also rolls 5 Primary affixes.
