Queen Aliza is a character in Chrono Trigger. She is Marle's mother and the thirty-third Queen of Guardia. Prior to the events of Chrono Trigger she died of an unknown illness. Marle was approximately four years old at the time of her death, so the Queen died sometime in the year 988 A.D.. Her last words were "Someday when Nadia grows up, she will bring her beloved to meet you. Welcome him warmly. It will be the day you remember forever." Yakra XIII, disguised as the Chancellor, as part of his evil plan to take over the land and avenge his ancestor, lies to Marle about her mother's death, saying the King neglected her even during her final moments. There is not much known about Aliza, except she was the Queen of Guardia. After Marle proves her father did not steal the Rainbow from the Cast
