A hyperdrive pod, also known as a hyperspace pod was a droid-controlled hyperdrive-equipped pod that delivered probe droids to their destinations. The Viper probe droid utilized two models, both developed by Arakyd Industries; the Predator I, and the Probe-Mate hyperspace pod.
