Following the debacle on Kasa, morale was starting to drop noticeably amongst the Necasians. Necasian intelligence, however, had correctly worked out that the next Srav target was Kasa, which had a number of fuel extraction facilities. To this end, Askar decided to draw the line with the Srav advance, and set Haveer Jarn to command the defence. Meanwhile, Necasian scientists announced that they had completed work on a new Necasian superweapon: the Shatter device, a machine capable of projecting intense ultrasonic waves capable of deatomizing anything they came into contact with. A Shatter device was hurriedly constructed on Hurcha near the main Necaisan base.
