William Ferrari was an American art director. He was nominated twice for an Academy Award winning once in the category Best Art Direction. He was also an established oil painter whose original paintings today (if found) sell for hundreds of dollars. He has over 50 credits to his name including both film and television, including; Gaslight (1944), The Harvey Girls (1946), Fiesta (1947), Adam's Rib (1950), Kind Lady (1951), Because You're Mine (1952), The Time Machine (1960) (1960), and How the West Was Won (1963). In television he directed many episodes in such popular shows as "The Thin Man" and "Twilight Zone".
