Dedrick Tower was a large residential tower in one of the Citizen districts in the Mesan capital city of Mendel. In 1922 PD, it was hit by a one-kiloton tactical nuclear charge as part of the Mesan Alignment's Operation Houdini; a total of 11,603 people were killed right away, with almost again that number dying from burn injuries and radiation poisoning in the days to come. Christina and Arianne McBryde were among the survivors, since their appartments were located far enough away from the blast. (CS3)
