The Gators were a beer league softball team. Their usual roster of players included: Stuart Boileau - shortstop; Ted Canter - left fielder; Joe Humphreys - first base; Wes Humphreys - manager / pitcher; Pete Sadowski - third base; Dr Strangeglove - designated hitter, sometime catcher. They were for a time joined by a mysterious man named Michael, a spectator whom the Gators asked to play out of desperation, and who agreed to join the team after his successful playing.
