George Shaw (c.1821 - August 1895) was a politician in the City of London. Shaw was a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers, and became Master of the company in 1878. He was largely responsible for the introduction of the Register of Plumbers in 1886. From 1868 until his death he was a member of the Common Council of the City of London, representing Faringdon Within ward. He was chairman of the City Commissioners of Sewers and was Chief Commoner in 1880.
