This episode features more of Xiao Qiao's past with Zhou Yu. Cao Cao tries to find the opportunity to confess his feelings to her, but when he realizes how painful she is about love, he decides to let go. Xiu/Liu Bei is told that Ah Xiang is "forced" by her father to honor her marriage agreement to Yuan Shao. Later that night, his friends tell him that they were making a surprise for his birthday. However, he is not happy by the lame surprise and angrily runs off into the woods. The next day, the real Liu Bei returns to the Silver Dimension, and picks up where his plans previously left off.
