Living constructs were beings who were exactly the same as other constructs in form and origin but who were otherwise alive in a manner much like that of magical beasts or humanoids. Living constructs had a soul, and while they did not require organic sustenance they did require rest equivalent, though not identical, to that of sleep and were not immune to magic that targeted the living. Warforged were examples of living constructs.
