Lieutenant Hào-B296 is a company-grade officer and a SPARTAN-III Commando of the UNSC Navy. He is the current leader of Winter Team, the reserve component of Project HEADHUNTER and a unit of Project INDIGO-II. Though not the most senior member of the unit, he was nonetheless accepted as leader - despite his own reluctance to step into the position - due to his great affinity for strategic and tactical thinking. Despite being trained as a headhunter, he has never seen deployment in Headhunter pairs, spending the entirety of his short career with Winter Team.
