The Parthenon is an ancient temple in the city of Athens in Greece on Earth. Part of the Parthenon was destroyed in the Eugenics Wars. (TNG - The Q Continuum novel: Q-Space) In 2376, Jake Sisko compared the buildings he saw in the ancient Bajoran city of Yyn to the Parthenon, although the buildings in Yyn were several thousand years older than the Parthenon and yet were in better condition.
