Verity Gibson went with her husband Iain to view 12 Coronation Street on 3rd May 2010 with an interest in buying the property. Arriving early, they startled owner Jason Grimshaw outside the flat and stood by as Jason tried to enter, only to find the locks had been changed by tenant Tina McIntyre. When Graeme Proctor exited the flat and claimed to have left the key inside, Verity, who claimed she could sense death, told Iain she got a bad vibe from the flat and mooted the idea of returning at a more convenient time.
