White Mage is the only job in the game to get Protectra and Shellra spells, as well as the Curaga line of spells, Cure V, Regen III, Raise III, and all of the erasing spells and Bar-element area effect spells. With a ton of MP, and enough survivability to boot, White Mage makes a great asset to any party. Never does a White Mage’s role in a party change. They always heal, with a side of enfeebling and enhancing. Divine Magic can help the party out in some cases, too.
