The Moorings is a private housing estate built in the Lounsdale area of Paisley, Scotland, in the 1990s. It is on the bank of a deep ridge created by the former Paisley Canal railway line allowing views towards the centre of Paisley. It was the first of many private estates planned in the west of Paisley, such as Oakdale being constructed on the Millarston scheme nearby and several developments going on in nearby Foxbar.
