The first series built was the Export series, followed by the Universal series. In 1969, 1500 tractors were sold to Cuba for the sugar fields, with the GM4 and Export models being sold. In 1978, Goldoni France was set up, followed by an agreement in 1980 for Goldoni tractors to be built in the Soviet Union, now Georgia, by Saktraktori. The Compact series was introduced in 1982, and a licensing agreement with China was signed in 1984 for the production and distribution of the Transcar, Universal and the 800 and 900 series.
