He also appeared in the Doctor Who spoofs The Pitch of Fear and The Web of Caves with David Walliams and Mark Gatiss (who also wrote, and directed him in Invaders from Mars). He also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who. He was a regular throughout the UK series of Little Britain (alongside David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Tom Baker and Anthony Head), which contained many references to Doctor Who. He also guest starred in Spaced, alongside his Invaders from Mars co-stars, Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes.
