Aliane held the position for twenty-three years until her death in 355 NE. She was Doniella Alievin's successor and Suilin Escanda's predecessor. Aliane began as a strong Amyrlin, but her notions of running things according only to logic (and her rages when others failed to see her logic) led by 339 NE to her becoming not so much a puppet of the Hall as ignored by them except when she had to be trotted out for ceremonies.
