In 2003 as his father came and took him away from Lamora because he wanted to be with his son again, and so in the attempt to pick him up, he was wounded by the weapon firing. Janet Fraiser were treating his injuries on Savarna then Prometheus. His grandfather wanted to get him back but Fraiser helped Marko flee with his father aboard Savarna. (SG1: "Savarna")
