Lord Oniro is an evil highlord, even more evil than Geric will ever be. When Geric meets Oniro, he offers him to join his army. Oniro refuses, saying he works alone. The first part of his name comes from the term "Oni", which is, according to Japanese folktale, is an ogre-like creature with horns. Oniro, on the otherhand, has one large horn.
